Ocean City Museum Society and Town of Ocean City to Hold Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Museum of Ocean City

 

On Friday, September 6, the Ocean City Museum Society along with Town of Ocean City Officials will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly restored Museum of Ocean City. The former Bank of Ocean City building is an extension of the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum. The museum will feature new exhibits, programs and events, and research space for public use. The restoration of the 1910 Bank of Ocean City building is made possible through private and state grant funding. Grants have been awarded from the Department of Housing and Community Development, the Ocean City Development Corporation, and the Maryland Heritage Areas Program.
