About Me

Ocean City, Maryland means everything to me.

It’s where I’ve spent the entirety of my 29 years of life, growing and working in a community I’ve always called home.  As the oldest of six children, I learned the value of hard work and devotion to this Town at an early age. At 12, I balanced my schoolwork at Worcester Preparatory School with my very first job: taking reservations at the family business, the Buckingham Hotel. Along the way, I’ve been blessed to share the company of loved ones and friends who share my passion for this community.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve known this Town represents something special that no place else in the world has to offer. This small, close community gives families the opportunity to work hard and look out for one another -- all the while enjoying an amazing resort atmosphere and unmatched environmental beauty. Ocean City truly is a one-of-a-kind place, and I feel lucky to be part of its past, present and future. That’s why I am certain that, now more than ever, I am capable of serving our hometown at a higher level.

I attended the University of Maryland, College Park, and after graduation, I earned my law degree from the University of Baltimore in 2016.  After clerking two years for the Circuit Court of Worcester County, I joined the firm of Williams, Moore, Shockley & Harrison, LLP as an associate attorney, where I continue today. I’m proud to have spent the past four years continuing to work and be involved in this community.

My Vision

This year has been particularly difficult for our community.  Ocean City has endured noise, litter, and recklessness like never before, especially in the Downtown and Boardwalk areas. Although these problems have recently increased, they are not a new phenomenon. Ocean City needs fresh new ideas to curb this trend and reinforce Downtown as a safe place for families to both visit and live

As someone who resides on 7th street and Baltimore Ave, right in the heart of these recent events, I am keenly aware of the problems we face. As a young attorney in the area, I have the background and ability to work with residents and businesses to come up with creative solutions to solve these issues. I believe the solution starts with giving our town personnel the support they need to enforce the already existing ordinances, amplify presence in the downtown area, and increase cleaning efforts.

As a member of City Council, I will listen to, work with and support anyone and everyone who has an interest in changing our wonderful community for the better. As such, I welcome residents and business owners alike to reach out to me directly with their concerns or ideas on how to advance the interests of Ocean City. If you place your confidence in me as an Ocean City Council Member, I pledge to work diligently and effectively for this Town. I'll focus on change and transparency, while never forgetting that the heart of Ocean City rests with its residents, who devote their time and energy in constantly propelling us forward. I know this because I’ve seen it firsthand as I grew up, as a business owner striving to add value to the area, and as a citizen eager to give back to our community I love so much.
